Winter Fairies
The kingdom of fairies is tightly intertwined with the concept of the Earth and the ancestral spirits, powerful energies that permeate both the fairies and mortals the world.
We can find traces of these energies in Celtic mythology, specifically in the myths and legends of the Tuatha De Danann.
The fairies were part of paganism, pre-Christian religion.
Some theories about fairies origins suggest the fairies, elves and gnomes are the spirits of nature and the gods that were worshiped by the ancient spiritual traditions.
Indeed the strenght of the fairies comes directly fron the power of the land, from the earth. Generations of ancestors and generations of the earth's creatures buried in the land give it a tremendeus, sacred power.
During the post-Christian era , pagan fairies became fallen angels. They have occasionally been described as spirits or astral Elementals. With the growth of Puritanism,
Fairies were imagined harmful or bearers of evil.
Although they are not angels, fairies are the ancient spirits who are magically linked to the place of the earth.
They are the sacred spirits or the presence that animates and enlivens the whole of nature.
Like the previous goddesses and gods who were the embodiment of nature, fairies have evolved in beings who have represented these magical aspects.
Staying connected and in tune with us, fairies adapted themselves to these changes becoming less wild and developing a quality and an ability to 'more' household.
Working with the fairies can also be useful to know their customs and traditions.
Folklore tells us that if we move in the world of the fairies, the time is measured in a very different way. As the theory of relativity by Einstein, the world of the fairies and the human world are related to one another. Because of this relativity, time moves at a different speed in the fairies world , it could be said as it travels at the speed of light. In this way it can be extremely dangerous.
Since the time is different in the realm of the fairies, you have not to attempt to go into their realm . Instead, it is better to learn to communicate with them through a variety of methods, many of which
will not discuss now but later (if desired).
As modern physics has determined that time is relative to where you are and where you're going, this is particularly true in the fairy world where time and space are timeless.
The fairy magic is to combine the timeless power and spiritual energy of the fairies with traditional techniques of magic, part of what you need to know is the moment. When and where the fairies of time are more widely.

The ginger cookies and milk are the favorite food of the fairies, gnomes in particular on the eve of Yule. This Sabbat marks the beginning of the cycle of life and offers a moment of reflection on the past and present, and the future.
Like the elemental spirits, air, water, fire and earth it seems fairies take also part in collaborating with the seasons ,being themselves the spirits of Nature.
Like Autumn Fairies are linked to the Autumn equinox , Winter Fairies are linked to the winter solstice.
They are generally identified by their light-colored clothing sometimes turned into beautiful snowflakes, other times surrounded by silhouetted slabs of ice.
If someone want to work with a fairy during the winter, it must have flower: the lily. This flower is bound to winter fairies and it will connect you with the mysteries of the new birth and sources, and it will contribute to the development of purity and humility.
It is possible to bring a lily, that grows from a bulb in the house as a potted plant, and some od them can even be "forced" in growth. A good choice might be the Lilium "Bright Diamond", a hybrid with pure white lily. Another could be the Lilium Lilium Auratum or commonly called by our florists "Casablanca". Warning: Many varieties of lily are toxic to cats.
In different parts of Europe and in Russia, it is called Fairies of the Snow and Ice. Small winged creatures that live, depending on the location, either alone or in a group.
It is said they are responsible for the designs of snowflakes and their fall, as well as other kinds of fairies would be about the blossoming of flowers, shape or the automn color of leaves.
They have a soft walk, whisper-quiet, only in absolute silence their smaller and lighter steps can be heard .
The winter fairies are really beautiful.
They are dressed in bright dresses and have very white bright shine wings.
They are often accompanied by white horses with long fairy manes . They have straight hair, blonde, blue or white. It is very rare that they have dark hair, only every 50 years, a dark hair winter fairy born .
They are the most fascinating and mysterious fairy of the magic World. They are shy and reserved; they like the silence, darkness, loneliness. It is very difficult to meet a winter fairy , but its scent is heard throughout the season: it is a of chestnut and mistletoe essence that gives sensations of ice and fire together. It is a subtle smell, but so intense to impregnate the air and give emotions of well-being and happiness.
When suddenly, on a cloudy and clear of frost day , leaving the house, early in the morning, we feel suddenly enveloped by a wonderful feeling of winter, and we turn the uncontrollable desire of hot chocolate and fireplace, we have to open our eyes : a sweet winter fairy is around us, spreading snow dust in the air!
In the coldest days of winter, when the immaculate white snow immaculate colors all countries, the countryside and the mountains,we can see the winged ladies of the ice. Beautiful, very tall, having long hair, eyes that change color and become blue-ice in the presence of snow, the large wings are shaped like leaves.
They are very sweet, their gaze emanates light and purity as the snow of which thery are the owners.
The message they bring us is to respect nature and the purity of the soul that every man and woman should be able to grow in their hearts.
