Bella is an amazing dog but the owner John Yerty baffled as to why she couldn’t eat her food. Every time they give bella the food, she attempts to eat it but she literally couldn’t swallow it. So John was so curious about this observation with Bella.
He brought bella for an extra to determine what caused the problem. The result showed them the bella has a birth defect called “megaesophagus”. This type of condition paralyzes bella’s esophagus what’s why she’s unable to swallow her food. John knew that if he will let bella untreated, she will eventually die of starvation.
Fortunately, John heard a device called “Bailey Chair”. The name is from a dog who suffers the same condition. It works by having the dog sit and eat like human. This type of dog eating position allows the gravity to pull food and water make its way to the stomach.
